Dr. William H.A. Beaudot is currently President and Chief Scientist at KyberVision Japan LLC in Sendai (Miyagi, Japan). He founded KyberVision in 2004 in Montreal, Canada, following post-doctoral and research associate positions at McGill Vision Research (Montreal, Quebec) between 1997 and 2003 and a R&D position in neuromorphic engineering at the Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM SA, Neuchâtel, Switzerland) between 1995 and 1997. His PhD in Computer Science was undertaken at Grenoble Institute of Technology, France.

His research interests involve both computational and biological vision sciences and their industrial and clinical applications.
